Scanning your Slides

This is what I am offering; Scan and enhance your slides or negatives. Create a DVD slide show which can be viewed on your TV from any DVD player. Also provide a DVD (s) of your scanned slides for your backup and/or reprints.

Pricing is 0.75 cents per slide or per 35 mm negative. Other formats are welcome contact for pricing.

My service includes (but not a total comprehensive list):

  • Manual dust removal on all slides/negatives
  • Slides/negatives scanned on a professional film scanner removing dust and scratches (Digital ICE TM)
  • Crop out distractions, straighten images (as long as no important detail will be lost)
  • Adjust light and image detail (histograms, shadows and highlights)
  • Interactively remove leftover digital "blemishes".
  • Polish image (i.e. Saturate and lastly Sharpen) for a natural “look and feel”
  • Create a DVD slide show
  • Create your backup jpeg image disk(s).

Your images will be clean, clear and alive. Your pictures should be as you remembered them when they were shot; not what time has done to them, slowly fading them away.

PHOTOGRAPH RESTORATION

Well for this section let the before and after images speak for themselves. The cost involved is per hour and I will give an estimate first. Remember you are looking at a web size (very small, low resolution example). A project like this is approximately $100, very labour intensive there are no magic buttons in this process. The final photo size in this instance was 8 x 10 in
